Project Description

Development of Infrastructure on Krievu Island for Relocation of Port Activity from City Centre Project (2010-2015), co-financed by EU Cohesion Fund, provided for the relocation of Andrejosta and Eksportosta Riga Free Port terminals activities to Krievu Island, with the objective of air pollution abatement and noise level reduction due to cargo transshipment operations and creation of competitive environment for business as well.

 

Within the range of the Project the following works were performed:

  • Construction of railway tracks (12 293 m)
  • Installation of turnouts (22 pcs.)
  • Construction of subgrade
  • Installation of drainage equipment
  • Equipping of railway crossings (2 pcs.)
