Project Description

The Reconstruction of Via Baltica E67 Motorway in Kekava – Iecava Section Project (2004-2006), co-financed by EU Cohesion Fund, provided for the Via Baltica motorway expansion, including the construction of railway bridge over motorway aimed to improve road traffic safety and to increase throughput capacity of highway.

 

Within the frame of the project the following works were carried out:

  • Construction of railway tracks (1650 m)
  • Construction of subgrade
  • Construction of drainage system
  • Laying of power supply, signaling and communication cables
  • Installation of signaling outdoor equipment for level crossing
